Journal of the Slovene Association of LSP Teachers

Editorial
This issue of Scripta Manent brings into focus a lively and dynamic field of vocabulary research in LSP (languages for specific purposes) teaching. It features two articles and a review. The authors of the articles use the lexical context to address two interesting questions: the role of translation in ESP and the question of anglicisms.
In her article "Expanding Vocabulary Through Translation – An Eclectic Approach"
Koletnik raises a question that has already been tackled in Scripta Manent (Laviosa
and Cleverton 2006), namely: "How can translation inform ESP students and teachers
