Editorial

 

The present issue of Scripta Manent brings an article and a book review - the former focusing on blended foreign language learning and the latter on a new LSP coursebook.

 

Curado Fuentes and Agudo Garzón explore the options LSP teachers have in Moodle for developing their students' listening and oral skills. This online learning environment is usually used for developing reading and writing skills of students, however, the authors argue that Moodle can also be effectively used for developing students' oral communication. The article highlights a number of useful tools and brings creative suggestions on how to use them for autonomous and collaborative language learning.

 

Those interested in LSP coursebooks or English for public administration should find the coursebook review of Urška Sešek especially interesting.
